Building Confidence

Pregnancy and parenting, especially after an unexpected pregnancy, can bring many questions, emotions, and new experiences. Whether you’re preparing for your first child or are already raising children, Amnion Women’s Center provides encouragement and ongoing support so you never have to navigate this journey alone.

Our no-cost and confidential programs are designed to help you feel equipped and empowered.

Education That’s Designed For You

At Amnion, we believe that knowledge builds confidence. Our educational programs are designed to meet you where you are and support you as you prepare for every stage of parenthood.

Our educational offerings include:

  • Prenatal Education: Learn about pregnancy health, labor, delivery, newborn care, and breastfeeding in one-on-one sessions with a nurse or through convenient online learning. These sessions help you understand your changing body, prepare for delivery, and care for your baby from day one.
  • Parenting Education: Access BrightCourse video lessons covering infancy, toddlerhood, co-parenting, and more.
  • Fatherhood Courses: Led by Scott, Amnion’s Fatherhood Advocate, our classes, like The Fatherhood Adventure and Doctor Dad, provide hands-on, practical learning for dads. Scott offers flexible scheduling (days, evenings, weekends) and can meet off-site or virtually via Zoom.

Post-Abortion Support

Healing after an abortion can look different for everyone. Whether your experience was recent or many years ago, Amnion Women’s Center offers post-abortion support to help you process your emotions in a safe, compassionate environment.

You can meet one-on-one with an advocate or join a group session, where you’ll find community and encouragement among others who have walked a similar path. Our goal is to provide hope and healing without judgment.

Support That Meets Every Need

Beyond education, our center offers a variety of support programs and practical resources:

  • Material Assistance: Access maternity and baby supplies, including diapers, clothing, and essentials for up to one year after your baby’s birth
  • Partnership Programs: We work with Cradle of Hope (portable cribs), Bundles of Love (handmade baby clothing and diaper bags), and Dakota County programs for additional referrals and community resources.
  • Language & Accessibility: Spanish-speaking advocates are available on Wednesdays (9 a.m.–12:30 p.m.) and Thursdays (12–4 p.m.), and our team can also connect with you via Hopesync text in Spanish. We also have an advocate fluent in American Sign Language (ASL) to assist deaf or hard-of-hearing patients.

A Community That Cares

At Amnion, we’re a community that believes in your strength and potential. Our team will walk beside you as you learn, grow, and make choices that reflect your hopes for the future.

You don’t have to do this alone. Schedule your free, confidential appointment today to learn more about our education and support programs, and take the next step toward building confidence, healing, and hope.

Amnion Women’s Center does not provide or refer for abortions.
